Three months with Amal Academy- Positive Reflection
It seems that it is just a matter of few days before when I came to know about a fellowship for youngsters for their career counseling and professional grooming. I had been looking for some juncture where I could get some intellectual food for thought and professional guidance as well. So I just joined AMAL for some professional help but amazingly with each passing day as we took baby steps forward I started feeling so blessed for getting amazing psychological and spiritual enlightenment from AMAL as well. It made my heart and soul bloom in so beautiful, different and new-fangled ways.
This fellowship gave new perspectives to ordinary patterns of my life. These new beginnings are so beautiful. I found amazing mentors, very supportive fellows here and so much that I feel so difficult to select one most impactful moment or instance of my fellowship. There were countless moments of bliss, joy, excitement, knowledge, wisdom, intellect, gratitude throughout. So now when I just recently have completed my course of powers of positive thinking I feel so overwhelmed with the feelings of happiness, strength, motivation, self-belief contentment and much more.
Today when I sit and recall few of the most beautiful, memorable, impactful, life changing instances of my journey with AMAL fellowship which are going to be guiding principles for my life also. The three most impactful instances of my AMAL fellowship were little acts of kindness, gratitude and power of positive thinking.
Beauty of kindness and compassion
The insights about little acts of kindness and compassion made me realize and to think how I can take little steps to make ordinary moments of my life extra ordinary and special. I started it by practicing to say a little word of kindness, compassion and appreciation to my family, friends and my dear ones with words as well as actions. I realized little words of compassion, a smile to express empathy and consideration, a card to express unsaid feelings of respect and love make so beautiful impacts on life.
Gratitude
My gratitude lesson made me realize that there were abundant blessings I had been bestowed by Almighty which I never thought to feel grateful for. I have blessings which people pray to have for. I have been blessed with good health, inspirational mentors, loving caring and supportive parents and life partner and many more beautiful blessings. I started feeling more contented and happy with what I have and not regretting for what was not meant for me. The instance of gratitude made me recall promise of Almighty ALLAH in Quran about the power of gratitude by promising abundance and barakah also.
Power of Positive thinking
I learned how power of positivity can incredibly change my life by giving me more strength, happiness and contentment. I gained more control over my emotions and temperament by internalizing the power of positive life patterns. it has been among the most powerful life lessons ever because the one who has power of positivity can never lose hope. Positivity brings strength, motivation, hope and the one who has positive vibes in personality can be an inspiration to others also.
These life lessons made beautiful and impressive impacts on my life as they made my life better. They did not only changed my life but practical implication of these transformations made my dear ones feel valued, respected, loved and cared for. My parents, wife, friends and colleagues saw this change and felt so amused by it and their happiness made me feel that yes AMAL has enlightened me in a beautiful way to make my life beautiful by just a little but important realization.
Today I think there were many beautiful things I had been bestowed by Almighty to be thankful of but due to my busy schedule and messed up thinking patterns I could never get time to think to feel this gratitude. I decided to take few moments everyday to think about these blessings and pray for them. Today I feel more confident, more self relied, more grateful and positive person than ever before. ALHAMDULLLAH and all credit go to my AMAL fellowship. So today I thank everyone who has been part of my fellowship journey.
